The Lunenburg County Local is committed to advancing and promoting the teaching profession and supporting the cause of public education in Nova Scotia.
Membership in the Lunenburg County Local includes Active and Active Reserve members of the Nova Scotia Teachers Union (NSTU) who are employed at designated public educational sites within the jurisdiction of the South Shore Regional Centre for Education (SSRCE) and within the geographical boundaries of Lunenburg County.
