Mandate:

The mandate of the Lunenburg County Local shall be to advance and promote the teaching profession and the cause of education in Nova Scotia.

A member of the Lunenburg County Local shall be an Active or Active Reserve member of the Nova Scotia Teachers Union in a designated public educational site within the jurisdiction of the SSRSB and the geographical boundaries of Lunenburg County.
